Refund Policy

At Train Sera, we strive to deliver unforgettable travel experiences. However, we understand that plans can change. This Refund Policy explains our process for cancellations and refund eligibility on tour packages, travel bookings, and related services.

By booking with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. General Refund Terms

All refund requests are subject to approval and are processed in accordance with the specific terms of your tour or service package.

Refunds may be applicable for:

  • Canceled tour packages (as per timeline and conditions)

  • Overpayments or duplicate charges

  • Services not rendered due to Train Sera fault

Refunds are not applicable for:

  • Non-refundable services (such as select flight tickets or visa fees)

  • Cancellations made beyond the eligible window

  • No-shows or unused portions of a trip

2. Cancellation by the Customer

If you need to cancel your travel plans, the following conditions will apply:

a. Tour Packages:

  • 30+ days before departure: Eligible for up to 70% refund

  • 15–29 days before departure: Up to 50% refund

  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund

b. Flight, Hotel, or Transport Bookings:

  • Subject to individual airline, hotel, or vendor policies

  • Some bookings are completely non-refundable

c. Custom or Group Tours:

  • Special terms may apply depending on group size and vendor arrangements

  • Non-refundable deposits may be required at the time of booking

3. Cancellation by Train Sera

In rare situations where Train Sera cancels a trip due to weather conditions, low participation, political unrest, or any unforeseen circumstances:

  • You will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule the tour

  • We are not liable for any external costs (e.g. flights booked separately)

4. Refund Process

Once approved, refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days, depending on the payment method.

Refund Methods:

  • Credit/Debit card payments: Refunded to the original card

  • Bank transfers: Refunded to your designated bank account

  • Wallet or voucher payments: Refunded as credit or vouchers

5. Amendment Fees

If you request changes to your booking (dates, destination, participant count, etc.), additional modification fees or fare differences may apply. Refunds may not be available after modifications.

6. Force Majeure

We do not provide refunds for cancellations due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions or travel bans

  • Acts of terrorism or war

  • Pandemic-related disruptions

We may, however, offer travel credit or rescheduling options wherever possible.
